Halloween: The GameSURVIVE
HADDONFIELD
It's Halloween night, 1978, and Michael Myers has come home. This Michael Myers guide covers every side of IllFonic's 1v4 asymmetrical horror game — stalking as the Boogeyman, surviving as a Hero of Haddonfield, the four launch maps, perk cards, and the singleplayer story mode.
Quick Start
One player takes the Shape of Evil as Michael Myers; up to four others play Heroes of Haddonfield trying to save the town's residents. Whether you want to stalk or survive, these are the guides to start with.

Michael Myers
Killer Sense, Shape Jump and the stalk mechanics — how to hunt Haddonfield as the Boogeyman.

Heroes of Haddonfield
Rescue residents, rally the authorities and reach the escapes before Michael finds you.

All Characters
Michael Myers plus ten playable civilians at launch — legacy faces and the new cast.

Four Haddonfield Maps
Town Center, Heights, Orange Grove Estates and East Haddonfield — landmarks and layouts.
Know the streets
before he finds you.
Four unique multiplayer maps rebuild the town of the 1978 classic — the Myers house on Lampkin Lane, the Wallace and Doyle residences, Nichols Hardware, the Rabbit in Red Lounge and more.

Play as Michael Myers
Michael begins each match with a list of Special Targets, uses Killer Sense to stalk from a first-person view, and slips between shadows with Shape Jump. He can't be killed — only delayed.
His starting traits are Killer Sense and Shape Jump, with three ability slots drawn from options such as Reality Tear, Blackout and Detection Pulse.

Survive the Night
As a civilian you hunt for hiding places, loot weapons and key items, persuade residents to follow you, and call the police — who escalate their patrols as the body count climbs. Every match offers randomized escapes.
Each Hero of Haddonfield carries unique stats across Athleticism, Personality, Resourcefulness and Capability, plus a signature trait and a customizable Perk Deck.
Survivor GuideStory Mode & Solo Play
For the first time, the 1978 film's events are playable from behind the mask: six chapters as Michael Myers with Dr. Loomis narrating, plus private matches against AI and solo-friendly progression for players who don't want to queue online.

The Night He Came Home
Six chapters from the Smith's Grove escape to the final babysitter encounter, with multiple endings.

Single Player Options
Story mode, private matches against AI and which progression systems work offline.

Gameplay Systems
Perk cards, loadouts, the four progression levels, challenges and customization explained.

Laurie & the 1978 Cast
Laurie Strode, Annie Brackett, Lynda van der Klok and Bob Simms return, reimagined with Compass.
First Things First
- As Michael: start every hunt in darkness. Shape Jump only activates and deactivates out of sight, so move from shadow to shadow and use Blackout and power cuts to remove the light that shelters civilians.
- As a civilian: noise and flashlight discipline keep you alive. Escaping and fighting both generate noise that pinpoints you to Michael, so only commit when you must.
- Pick a main: each of the 10 launch civilians has a different stat spread and trait. Laurie Strode and the other legacy characters suit players who want film-accurate roleplay; the new cast covers the rest.
- Objectives beat kills (for heroes): you win by saving residents and reaching the randomized escapes — not by fighting. Michael can't die, only be detained and shipped back to Smith's Grove.
